The field-note tool

Your note is stored in this browser only when you select “Save on this device”. It is not submitted to our server. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to read it. Use “Clear” to remove the saved note, or export a text copy to keep it elsewhere. Clearing browser storage also removes the saved note.

Page and download counts

When enabled, the site records aggregate daily counts of page loads, sample downloads, page previews, note exports and checkout clicks. The event contains a fixed campaign category and event name. We do not attach a visitor ID, store your note contents, or send the page query string to that counter. Counts are not unique visitor or purchase counts.

Hosting and external services

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the network information needed to deliver and protect it. Gumroad handles purchases and payment information when you choose to visit checkout. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Source links take you to independent websites.

Emails and support

This page does not collect email addresses or enrol you in a newsletter. For a question about a purchase, reply to your Gumroad receipt or use the seller contact supplied by Gumroad. No payment information is handled by the field-note tool.
